About Lamont Boarding Kennels Inc.
Our Story
Lamont Boarding Kennels is proudly owned and operated by Gerard and Sandy Shepley.
Prior to moving to Lamont we ran a grooming business in Ontario for 13 years and then expanded to Kennel services for 7 years.
We have 3 sons who actively help with your animals in our care and we have 10 dogs of our own.
Dogs are not just our business, they are our passion!
Our Facilities
We pride ourselves on our facilities and the strict cleanliness standards we keep, allowing us to offer the most pawsitive experience for both you and your fur child!
Large Dog Facility:
- 24 units
- Units are 5’ x 10’ (50 sq ft)
- Only 8 units to a room
- Each unit has a dog door for access to outside areas
- Radiant heating for better comfort
- Dog bath area
- *New for 2024* Air filtration/purifiers in each room to cut down on airborne bacteria and dust
Small Dog/Puppy Facility:
- Newest facility
- 14 units
- Calm, more easy going environment for our smaller friends and those little ones new to boarding

The Property:
- 12 fully fenced acres for play and exploring
- 2 ponds
- Sand arena
- *New for 2024* Two large agility courses for use during play time
- *New for 2024* Gated, 24 hour security, cameras in all rooms and exterior, secure locked facilities at all times
- *New for 2024* large play areas equipped with anti-climb fencing

Our Services
In addition to offering an amazing boarding facility and boarding experience, we are also fortunate enough to have Sandy's Paw Spa located in our facility! Sandy has been grooming for 13 years and posses a wide range of skills and abilities, to handle all breeds and demeanors. Whether its just an exit bath to return home squeaky clean or a complete spa day, we assure you there is no better hands for your pup to be in!

At Lamont Boarding kennels, we take the saying "Where Dogs Play" very seriously! Our promise will always be, to provide days filled with endless play, care and love. Our goal is that your pet feels as if they are staying at their second home and their tails wag in anticipation of the fun to be had!

Here at Lamont Boarding Kennels, your dog will have many opportunities to play!
That means - They may get DIRTY!!
There are pools (weather permitting), agility equipment, unlimited toys and of course, DIRT!
If you want to take the dirt factor our - you can request an exit bath or a full spa day to end your pets vacation!

Booking
New to Lamont Boarding Kennels, we have started to use an online booking program called Gingr. Through the online portal you can book reservation, daycare or grooming whenever is convenient for you! Through the app or website you can also upload pictures of your pet, upload vaccine info when necessary and we can also send pictures and videos during your pets stay with us!
And of course you are still welcome to call or text as well if that is preferred!

Saturday: 9:00 - 12:00
Sunday: 9:30-11:00 and 4:30-6:00
